Beth Dalton, an award-winning real estate agent and broker, has been appointed as managing broker at Long & Foster Real Estate’s Grove office in Richmond and its Stony Point office in Bon Air. Dalton currently oversees Long & Foster’s Tuckahoe and Centerpointe offices in Richmond, and she will continue to lead that location while taking on new responsibilities at Grove and Stony Point.
“I’m excited to bring together some of Long & Foster’s top offices in the Richmond area under a unified local leadership team,” said Dalton. “We’ve already achieved so much by leveraging the tremendous resources and support of Long & Foster, and working together even closer than before, I’m confident we’ll exceed our current results for our agents and clients.”
Dalton began her real estate career working at a large settlement company before earning her real estate license almost two decades ago. She was with a competing broker before joining Long & Foster in 2010 as the branch manager of its Blacksburg office. There, she provided training, support and education to make the office and its agents some of Long & Foster’s most successful.
In 2019, she was named as managing broker at Long & Foster’s Tuckahoe and Centerpointe offices, relocating to the Richmond area. As in Blacksburg, she has led the teams in Tuckahoe and Centerpointe to tremendous success, helping her agents earn numerous honors all while exceeding client expectations.
“Beth is known for her dedication and passion for the industry, as well as her integrity and commitment to her agents and their clients,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “That focus has translated into increased productivity and profitability for her agents and our company, and I’m confident she’ll build on these successes, now with our Grove and Stony Point teams.”
Dalton currently serves as the president of Virginia Realtors, leading the association in shaping the future of real estate. She previously volunteered with many committees for Virginia Realtors, served the New River Valley Association of Realtors (NRVAR) in various capacities, and volunteered with the Richmond Association of Realtors (RAR).
She has also earned many honors from these associations. Virginia Realtors named her Manager of the Year in 2015, and the New River Valley Association of Realtors honored her as Realtor of the Year in 2008. In addition, Dalton is a member of the Virginia Realtors Honor Society.
