Real estate professional brings over a decade years of experience to new position

Long & Foster Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 privately owned residential real estate company, has named Richard Esposito as the new sales manager of its McLean office. Esposito comes to the McLean team from Long & Foster’s Burke/Fairfax Station/Clifton location, where he worked as a leading sales associate since 2003. In his new role, he will support Susan Westbrook, managing broker of the McLean office, in helping their agents to best support buyers and sellers throughout the community.

“I’m thrilled to join the leadership team at Long & Foster’s McLean office, and I look forward to sharing my industry knowledge and expertise to help these highly skilled Realtors to achieve continued success in the business,” said Esposito. “I also look forward to helping our associates support their clients, making use of the many tools, technology and training that Long & Foster has to offer—all of which help us to have the best trained and best equipped agents in the business.”

As part of the Long & Foster family, Esposito has achieved great results for his clients and his sales have earned him a position on the company’s Gold Team, an exclusive group for top agents, and the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors’ Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club. Prior to joining Long & Foster, Esposito served in management at the historic Mayflower Hotel in D.C.

Throughout his career, Esposito has volunteered with various real estate boards and committees. He currently serves on the Burke Centre Conservancy’s Business Liaison Committee and the Burke Basketball Executive Committee. He also volunteers with the athletic booster club at James W. Robinson Secondary School and serves on the Saint Mary of Sorrows Parish Council.

“It takes a highly knowledgeable and experienced leader to help real estate agents achieve success in today’s competitive environment,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “We are confident that adding Richard to our leadership team in our McLean office will help us continue to do just that. This is how our company has helped buyers and sellers meet their homeownership goals for nearly 50 years and how we’ll continue to do so in the years to come.”

A graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College, Esposito has a degree in business management. He currently resides in Burke with his wife Maureen. They have three children, Erin, Michael and Patrick. For more information, visit www.LongandFoster.com.
