Long & Foster’s Talout International Sells Riverfront McLean Estate for $4.6M

Panoramic views of the Potomac with 152 feet of riverfront property

Long & Foster Real Estate congratulates agent Fouad Talout and partners Jack Spahr and Pascale Karam on the sale of 703 Potomac Knolls Drive, a waterfront property along the banks of the Potomac River in McLean, Virginia. Talout, a sales agent in Long & Foster’s McLean office, was both the listing and the selling agent for the property, which sold for $4.6M.

“Without question, this was the best value for a McLean waterfront property,” said Talout. “It overlooks the Potomac River and provides easy access to the widest part of the river, which is ideal for water sports and kayaking around the three islands in this part of the Potomac.”

With 152 feet of waterfront property, the home, on nearly two and a half acres has panoramic views of the Potomac River. The six bedroom, five and one half bathroom home has great spaces for entertaining, with walls of windows and multiple large balconies overlooking the river.

The story of how this sale transpired is one of trust. Talout International first listed this home in 2015, which was a very different market. Over the years, the property received offers that did not meet the sellers needs and requirements. Nevertheless, the team remained optimistic and loyal to their clients – always seeking to protect their best interests, respect their wishes and get the best possible price for them. After going on and off the market for several years, the sellers returned to Talout International, trusting that they were the best representatives to list and sell their home.

The buyer, a local business owner and previous client of Talout, did not request to see the property. In fact, he was unaware of it until Talout brought it to his attention. Knowing his client, Talout reached out to the buyer to inform him about the property’s riverfront value, compared to other recent McLean riverfront properties that sold for $10M or more. The buyer fell in love with the property and views on the first visit.  Both seller and buyer had complete trust in Talout and his team, enabling this magnificent property to be transferred to its new owner.
