Five Star Professional recognized each of the agents in a special section in the Sept. 20 edition of The Washington Post Magazine.

Consumers nominated agents for the awards and then completed surveys to rate the individual agents on a variety of items, including negotiation skills and integrity. Five Star Professional then identified the top agents based on evaluation results and service quality. According to Five Star Professional, less than 1 percent of the agents in a particular market are selected as Five Star Real Estate Agents.
