Twenty-year industry veteran to oversee brokerage’s Williamsburg office

Long & Foster Real Estate has appointed Elizabeth Walthall as managing broker in its Williamsburg, Virginia, office. With over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, Walthall has established a solid reputation in the community, and she’s known for her professionalism, attention to detail and commitment to serving others.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Elizabeth to our leadership team in Williamsburg,” said Tina Holt, senior vice president and regional manager at Long & Foster Real Estate in Hampton Roads. “Elizabeth’s passion for the industry and helping real estate agents succeed in their careers aligns perfectly with our core values at Long & Foster. We look forward to seeing all that she achieves going forward.”

Active in the real estate community, Walthall is a member of the National, Virginia and Williamsburg Association of Realtors, where she plays a vital role in influencing and shaping the real estate industry. Her dedication to service is further exemplified by her term as President of Williamsburg Realtors from 2023 to 2024, and her current involvement as Immediate Past President, which she’ll hold through 2025.

In addition to her industry service, Walthall is involved in her local homeowners’ association, previously volunteering as board secretary. She also served on the Williamsburg Housing Balance Committee in 2020—a position for which the City Manager nominated her. She’s also passionate about ensuring everyone can own a home, and that drives her career and community contributions.

Walthall earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Saint Leo University in 2008. She obtained her real estate sales license in 2004 and her broker’s license in 2013. In her free time, Walthall enjoys boating, fishing, and oyster aquaculture. She cherishes her time spent on the water with her husband and three children, as well as with friends.
