Tony Thomas has been named managing broker of Long & Foster Real Estate’s Silver Spring Downtown office, located in Silver Spring, Maryland. A Realtor for over a decade, Thomas most recently served as the sales manager in Long & Foster’s Waldorf and Tapestry offices.

Thomas started his career as a stockbroker and financial advisor with American Express. He transitioned into real estate in 2009, entering the business during a challenging market. Leveraging his research expertise and talent for numbers, Thomas excelled and built a top-producing business, later teaching others how to succeed the way that he had done.

He joined Long & Foster’s Woodley Park office in 2018, where he ran his own sales business and began teaching Launch courses. In late 2022, he was appointed as sales manager at the Waldorf and Tapestry offices, and through both roles, he trained and mentored dozens of agents.
