Sales professionals recognized in both categories – 100 Best Agents and Elite Producers
Long & Foster Real Estate congratulates more than 220 sales associates and teams that have been recognized in the Washingtonian magazine’s annual blockbuster list of Top Real Estate Agents.
This list, which has been published in Washingtonian’s July issue, is comprised of the D.C. area’s 100 Best Agents (survey-based) and Elite Producers (by 2021 sales volume). The Washingtonian list is the hardest to qualify for and this year, the criteria to qualify was made even more stringent than in previous years.
“Long & Foster is proud that the Washingtonian has recognized our agents for their production and the outstanding service they provide to home buyers and sellers every day,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “These top-ranking real estate professionals are a reflection of our entire team of experts, and we offer each and every one of them our congratulations for their accomplishments.”
Winners for the 100 Best Agents list were selected based on a survey of the Washingtonian’s nearly 30,000 local subscribers, plus the more than 1,000 agents who made last year’s Best Agents and Top Producers list. Readers of the popular magazine were asked which agents they’ve most enjoyed working with based on criteria such as knowledge of the market, preparedness, and responsiveness. The Washingtonian then further vetted those results with their own research and reporting, including conversations with dozens of real estate industry professionals.
The selection process for the Elite Producers list was based on the agent’s 2021 sales volume, as submitted by brokerages. To qualify, agents had to achieve or lead teams that achieved the following minimums: individual agents, $13M; teams of two agents, $20M; teams of three to five agents, $33M; teams of six to ten agents, $78M; and teams of more than 10 agents, $133M.
Minimums for platinum levels: individual agents, $26M; teams of two agents, $40M; teams of three to five agents, $52M; teams of six to ten agents, $118M; and teams of more than 10 agents, $200M.
The complete list of Top Agents will be highlighted in the July issue of Washingtonian, available in newsstands on June 23 and will be celebrated at a Washingtonian party later this summer or early fall.
