Long & Foster Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 privately owned residential real estate company, has named Patrick Sprouse as the managing broker of its Logan Circle office in Washington, D.C. Sprouse brings more than 15 years of residential and commercial real estate experience to his new position at Long & Foster. He also has a proven record of delivering positive results through strategic business planning, marketing, education and training.

“I’ve worked with Long & Foster associates for many years in the D.C. real estate market, and I’ve been continually impressed with their team’s commitment to their clients. I look forward to joining the family and leading the brokerage’s growing Logan Circle office,” Sprouse said. “I’m confident with my industry knowledge and commitment to the business, as well as the strength of the Long & Foster brand and its many technology and marketing offerings, our office and agents will achieve even greater success in real estate.”

Sprouse comes to Long & Foster from The Menkiti Group, a D.C. area real estate services firm where he served as Director of Sales. In that position, he managed the company’s residential sales division, leading a team of over two dozen associates. While there, Sprouse not only helped his team to increase their sales, but also implemented numerous operational and administrative improvements to make their business run more efficiently. He also oversaw the division’s marketing and transaction management efforts with a focus on providing quality programs to best support his team and their clients.

Prior to joining Menkiti, Sprouse held a leadership role at a real estate technology start-up, directing sales and operations. There, he helped the firm to grow significantly through improved marketing and organizational changes. Sprouse also has a background in commercial real estate and residential property investment—both of which will benefit the Long & Foster team in D.C., where many neighborhoods are seeing increased redevelopment. He’s also natural leader who easily relates to people at all levels and brings enthusiasm to all endeavors.

“In today’s competitive market, it takes an immense amount of commitment, passion and knowledge to help real estate agents achieve success,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “We are confident that naming Patrick as manager of our Logan Circle office will help us continue to do just that. This is how our firm has helped buyers and sellers meet their homeownership goals for nearly 50 years and how we’ll continue to do so in the years to come.”

Sprouse is currently studying for his master’s degree in real estate at Georgetown University, and he is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute and the American Real Estate Society, among other real estate associations. Outside of his real estate business, Sprouse is an avid poker player, who participated in the World Series of Poker and played competitively for many years.
