Ramey was awarded the prestigious award by the CAAR president on Jan. 9 at the Boars Head Inn, located in Charlottesville. This award is given to an individual who exemplifies the Realtor spirit, has strong participation in civic activities and charitable work, has notable business accomplishments and participates in improving the real estate industry at the local, state and national level.
Ramey served on the board of directors for the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors from 2008 to 2014, including as president of the association in 2013. She has been a member of the Virginia Association of Realtors Leadership Academy since 2009, she has been a member of the CAAR Professional Honor Society since 2008 and has been inducted into the VAR Honor Society every year since 2010.

Ramey, a professional in the real estate industry for the past 10 years, holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. She lives in Crozet, Va., with her two sons, Casey and Kyle, and their dog Bailey.
