Ellen Katz named manager of the Potomac/Cabin John office in Potomac, Md.
Long & Foster® Real Estate, Inc., the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, today announced that real estate veteran Ellen Katz has joined its Potomac/Cabin John office in Potomac, Md., as branch manager.
Prior to joining Long & Foster, Katz served as a sales manager for the last eight years with another firm in the region. She began her real estate career in 1989 as a licensed Realtor in Maryland. She is currently an associate broker licensed in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Katz holds the professional designation of Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI).

Katz has consistently been recognized as a top producer and a top manager throughout her career. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR), as well as a member of GCAAR’s Contract and Clauses Committee.
A native of Baltimore, Katz moved to Montgomery County, Md., after graduating with a degree in consumer economics from the University of Maryland. She is actively involved in community service work including organizing annual blood drives and coat drives.
