Hill has enjoyed a 17-year career in real estate and in 2010, he formed the award-winning The James Hill sales team. Hill holds the Certified Residential Specialist, Sellers Representative Specialist, Senior Real Estate Specialist, Accredited Buyer Representative and e-Pro Real Estate industry designations, as well as being licensed as an Associate Broker.

During the pandemic, while still selling real estate, Hill wrote his first novel, “When the Dandelions Sing”, which has received a four-and-a-half out of a five-star review on Amazon. The novel is a heartfelt story about a young boy who is trying to understand the meaning of the word “purpose”, and what his purpose is in life. He discovers joy can be found in the smallest of things and the simplest of moments…for even among a field of perfect flowers, the simple dandelion can sing. “Everything has purpose, and everything, a meaning beyond what we are even meant to understand,” said Hill. “That’s just the way it is. Purpose is not what we want it to be. It’s simply what is meant to be.”

In November 2021, Hill published his second novel, “Phoebe’s Heart of Stone”, a story set in 1919 which follows the shocking true-life events of a family who wished for the simple things in life, but instead faced a path riddled with misfortune that altered the course of each of their lives forever.
