Tony Proto, an associate broker with Virginia Properties in Richmond, Virginia, has earned the Pricing Strategy Advisor designation. Virginia Properties is owned by The Long & Foster Companies, the No. 1 privately owned residential real estate company in the United States.
Awarded by the National Association of Realtors, the Pricing Strategy Advisor designation recognizes that Proto has an excellent understanding of how to make market-price adjustments to comparable properties when performing property market-pricing analysis, as well as adjust pricing for specific challenges and special situations when performing property market-pricing analysis. Additionally, Proto has a greater awareness of the role of supply and demand in pricing a home, and has a firm knowledge of the Realtors Code of Ethics as it relates to pricing.
“The study which I completed in earning the Pricing Strategy Advisor designation has helped hone my pricing skills,” Proto said. “I can use these enhanced skills to help my clients who are selling a home price their properties appropriately for the current market, and to help my clients who are buying a home determine an appropriate price to pay for property. Whether they are buying or selling, my clients will benefit from my expertise in this area.”
A Realtor since 2005, Proto is a consistently-ranked top producing sales agent, and has achieved Silver Team, Gold Team, Chairman’s Club and President’s Club membership throughout his years of affiliation with Virginia Properties and Long & Foster.
