Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, welcomes Timothy Brown to its York-Peninsula office, in Yorktown, Va. Brown will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.

“We are very excited and fortunate to have Timothy join our team of highly trained professionals,” said Pat Richardson, manager of the York-Peninsulaoffice. “The combination of Long & Foster and Timothy’s unique skills and knowledge will no doubt provide the highest level of service to local buyers and sellers.”

Brown was motivated to pursue a real estate career with Long & Foster by seeing people’s needs for agents with experience. His many relocations in the United States Air Force and subsequently with Department of Defense contractors give him a broad understanding of people’s needs when moving. After interviewing with several real estate agencies, he found Long & Foster provided the most comprehensive services to families and their agents that help them.

“We welcome Timothy to Long & Foster, a company that has helped local buyers and sellers reach their homeownership goals for more than 45 years,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate.

Brown holds a master’s degree in marketing from Golden Gate University and has post-graduate experience with George Washington University. He resides in Gloucester Point, Va., along with his spouse, Janet.
