Phase III of the historically-inspired townhome community combines luxury design with unique urban setting

For Philadelphia residents interested in a walkable neighborhood that’s close to some of the best restaurants the city has to offer, there’s a new community on the market: Southwark on Reed (400 Reed Street). A unique new townhome community in a remarkable location, Southwark on Reed is located between the neighborhoods of Dickinson Square and Pennsport. The community takes its name from the once vibrant neighborhood of craftsmen that occupied the site.  A grand opening for three new model homes at Southwark on Reed will be held on Nov. 5 and 6.

Southwark on Reed is close to key cultural and iconic community markers, including South Street, Italian Market, Passyunk Avenue, Queen Village and Pier 68 on the Delaware River waterfront. Southwark is also a short walk from local shops, restaurants and green spaces including Jefferson Square Park and Dickinson Square Park.

The attention to detail on these brick-front townhomes is unsurpassed and includes three to four bedrooms, 2.5 to 3.5 bathrooms, private rooftop decks, nine-foot ceilings, spacious master suites, chef kitchens with stainless steel appliances and most with two car garages. The four-story homes range from 2,300 to 2,900 square feet and occupy a full city block with stunning downtown views.

Southwark on Reed is a joint project between regional property developer Concordia Group and well-known local builder D3 Real Estate Development. Long & Foster Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 privately owned residential real estate company, and Urban Pace, a Long & Foster company, are handling sales. Homes start at $494,000.

“This is truly a unique offering that is unmatched in downtown Philadelphia,” said Matt Dewey, president of Urban Pace. “The opportunity to live in a new townhome community of such quality, and in this neighborhood, is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to own what will quickly become known as a premier address.”

The first two phases have sold out quickly and phase three is on pace to continue the momentum.
