Shannon Gilmore, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Warrenton sales office, recently earned the Certified Residential Specialist designation.

Awarded by the Council of Residential Specialists, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, the CRS designation recognizes that Gilmore is an expert in working within the residential market using a variety of proven tools such as networking to deliver the highest quality and professional service possible to today’s homebuyers and sellers.

“Excellent customer service and communication are key components of Shannon’s business philosophy, and we’re very fortunate to have her on our team here at the Warrenton sales office,” said Phyllis Hunt, managing broker of Long & Foster’s Warrenton sales office.

In addition to her newly attained CRS designation, Gilmore also completed the Realtors Institute of Virginia program, earning her Graduate Realtor Institute designation, and she holds the designation of Accredited Buyer’s Representative. Gilmore began her real estate career in 2003 and she enjoys working with both buyers and sellers.

Gilmore has a master’s degree in education from Shenandoah University. In her free time, she enjoys family, the beach and farm life.
