Long & Foster Real Estate has appointed Richard Bridges as managing broker of its Reston, Virginia, office. Bridges brings more than 20 years of real estate leadership experience to the role, having served as a broker, team leader, coach and trainer throughout the Northern Virginia market. Most recently, he held a leadership position with a major regional brokerage, where he oversaw agent development initiatives focused on recruiting, coaching and technology adoption.

As managing broker, Bridges will oversee the Reston office’s sales associates, providing coaching, business development support, professional guidance and leadership while helping agents leverage the full range of resources available through Long & Foster and its family of companies.

Bridges began his real estate career in 2006 and has built and led successful teams, developed coaching and mentoring programs, and trained agents at every stage of their careers. He’s licensed in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia and previously served as a real estate instructor.
