REAL Trends Ranks Long & Foster Companies Third Among Top Brokerages

The Long & Foster Companies, parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate based in Chantilly, Va., was ranked as the third largest brokerage in the nation based on total closed sales volume and total closed transaction sides in 2015. The ranking was published in the latest REAL Trends 500, an annual ranking of top real estate brokerages distributed by REAL Trends, Inc., a leading source of statistical analysis for the residential real estate industry.

Long & Foster’s third place ranking was based on its total closed sales volume of $29.1 billion as well as its more than 82,250 closed transaction sides ”“ the number of closed sales in which a Long & Foster sales associate represented the seller, the buyer or both parties.
