Horne was a former principal broker and owner of Horne & Associates Realty for 18 years, which merged with Long & Foster in February 2007.

A graduate of the University of Richmond, School of Business, Horne also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He continues to be a multi-million-dollar real estate producer and is a member of the Long & Foster Presidents Club. He is also a member of the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
