Takach has been affiliated with the Oceanfront/Coastal office for 11 years and is an active member of the Hampton Roads Realtors Association. She holds several professional designations including Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate Realtor Institute, Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource and Seniors Real Estate Specialist.

“After a long career designing and producing marketing materials primarily for the building/residential new construction industry, turning my attention to the consumer side of the business was a natural and exciting transition,” said Takach.

A resident of Virginia Beach since the age of eight, Takach considers herself a native of the Virginia Beach area. She was a Navy brat and is originally from San Diego. She has been married to her husband, Joe for 35 years and they have one daughter named Kerry.

Takach enjoys gardening, reading and traveling anywhere and everywhere, but says she has a special place in her heart for the Bahamas. She has volunteered her time with Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, Equikids and also plays Bunko.
