Long & Foster Real Estate welcomes Molly Skala to its Tri-Cities Southpark office in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Skala will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.

“We are very excited and fortunate to have Molly join our team of highly trained professionals,” said Nancy Steinke, manager of the Tri-Cities Southpark office. “The combination of Long & Foster and Molly unique skills and knowledge will no doubt provide the highest level of service to local buyers and sellers.”

Skala is participating in Long & Foster’s Success Path program, which offers extensive training and resources for agents at any stage of their career. The program’s curriculum includes tools for agents to build their business, mentor-style programs, techniques for prospecting and working with buyers and sellers, skills for negotiating and more. Skala holds membership in the Southside Virginia Association of Realtors.

“I have always had an underlying interest in real estate,” said Skala. “When life threw some curves at me, and I needed to step up to full time work, I decided with my family that this was a good option, since we are interested in flipping houses together.  Long & Foster felt comfortable from the start, and I felt no need to look anywhere else.”

“The dynamics of today’s residential real estate market are constantly changing. Participating in our Success Path program has provided Molly with the right tools to meet those changing dynamics,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “We welcome Molly to Long & Foster, a company that has helped local buyers and sellers reach their homeownership goals for over 50 years.”

Skala grew up in Chester and played Division 1 Women’s Soccer for Liberty University, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.  She studied abroad in Prague and received an additional teaching license through Oxford accreditation.  She will still teach online with this degree, but is unable to do this full time because of the time differences with her students around the world.

She also has two levels of coaching licenses, which she uses with Richmond Strikers’ travel soccer program.  She and her husband are expecting their first child and look forward to the many new adventures this will provide.
