Michael Dotti Appointed to the Brunswick County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors

Michael Dotti, a lead agent and associate broker with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Lake Gaston Sales office has been appointed to the Brunswick County Industrial Development Authority Board of Directors. Dotti is already serving as a member of the Brunswick County Zoning Commission and recently stepped down as a member of the Zoning Appeals Board. Dotti brings a great deal of experience to the table.

Dotti has worked as a Realtor in southern Virginia and North Carolina for the past 12 years, specializing in lake and farm properties, as well as land development. He currently owns a rental management company and a real estate services company, and he and his team of 12 Realtors and two staff members provide services to residents of Bracey, Emporia and Lawrenceville.

Prior to his career in real estate, Dotti spent 12 years with  Hershey Entertainment and Resorts in the role of executive chef and director of special projects. His primary role was to plan, budget and create staff and open special projects, including Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He also provided culinary oversight for the opening of the 12,000-seat Giant Center Arena in Hershey, Pennsylvania, was the general manager in charge of opening Hershey’s Chocolate Town Café, Hershey’s Corporate Visitors Center and the Italian Deli in the Outlets at Hershey. He worked as a chef and manager for numerous restaurants, including four in sourthern Virginia.
