Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest privately owned residential real estate company in the United States, welcomes Melissa McCoy to its Lynchburg office, in Forest, Virginia. McCoy will specialize in working with homebuyers and sellers.
“We are very excited and fortunate to have Melissa join our team of highly trained professionals,” said Bobbie Holman, manager of the Lynchburg office. “The combination of Long & Foster and Melissa’s unique skills and knowledge will no doubt provide the highest level of service to local buyers and sellers.”
McCoy was a licensed real estate professional in Maryland and made her home in Smith Mountain Lake about nine years ago. She has dedicated herself to providing each of her clients with personal attention, which is her priority. Having worked much of her life in the customer service industry and having worked with those who are elderly and intellectually disabled, McCoy said she knows the importance of providing her clients with the highest level of loyalty and service. McCoy holds membership in the Lynchburg Association of Realtors.
“I joined this company because I feel Long & Foster has great people and will be an asset to my real estate career,” McCoy said.
“We welcome Melissa to Long & Foster, a company that has helped local buyers and sellers reach their homeownership goals for more than 45 years,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate.
Outside of her work serving home buyers and sellers, McCoy loves to spend time with her family, which includes 10 nieces and nephews. Her hobbies include learning to play new instruments, dancing and martial arts.
