Melissa Dooley Joins Long & Foster’s Oceanfront/Coastal Office

Agent to expand her real estate business to North Carolina

Long & Foster Real Estate welcomes Melissa Dooley to its Oceanfront/Coastal office, in Virginia Beach. Dooley, who has been in the real estate industry for eight years, has obtained her North Carolina real estate license to help more homeowners and home buyers there.

After 27 years in the Navy, Dooley retired in 2012 and became a Real Estate agent. In 2013, she received Rookie of the Year as well as a Shining Star Award. She attributes much of her success in Real Estate with her attention to client care, which she learned in her years working as a nurse.

Born and raised in Michigan, Dooley has been married to her husband Jim Dooley for 21 years. They have two dogs and love living near the water. They often spend time boating and fishing. She is also very active in the community and often works with the Naval Academy Sponsorship Program, area schools and the American Heart Association.
