Top-Producing Realtor Brings Over 25 Years’ Experience in Northern Virginia Market

Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, welcomes Mark Goedde to its McLean, Va., office. Goedde brings to his new position with Long & Foster over 25 years of experience in the Northern Virginia residential real estate market, as well as a reputation for helping buyers and sellers to achieve their real estate goals.

“As a real estate agent in Northern Virginia for over two decades, I’ve worked with many Long & Foster associates, and I’ve always been impressed by their exceptional service and dedication to their clients, as well as the company’s commitment to its agents’ success,” said Goedde. “I’m confident that with the backing of Long & Foster, as well as the firm’s marketing and technology tools, including its affiliation with Christie’s International Real Estate, I’ll have the ability to help my clients accomplish even greater success in real estate.”

Goedde comes to Long & Foster from a competing local firm, where he earned top honors for his excellence in real estate. He specializes in helping clients buy and sell multi-million dollar homes, as well as mid-level properties, and his customers have found his financial and investment experience helps them to make smarter decisions about their homes or real estate portfolios. Goedde is the former owner of Fair Lakes Realty and previous branch vice president for a national real estate firm. He is a lifetime member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR) Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club and consistently ranks in the top two percent of Realtors nationwide.

“We are very excited to have Mark join our team of highly trained professionals,” said Lonnie Plaster, branch manager of Long & Foster’s McLean, Va., office and senior vice president and regional manager of the company’s Northern Virginia and West Virginia region. “The combination of Long & Foster and Mark’s unique skills and knowledge will no doubt provide the highest level of service to local buyers and sellers.”

Goedde earned his Master of Business Administration degree in marketing from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s Political Leaders Program. He is an active member of the real estate community, having previously served on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Association of Realtors and as chairman of the Government Affairs Committee for NVAR.

“Long & Foster continues to lead the way with cutting-edge tools and technology, which attracts top real estate professionals such as Mark,” said Larry “Boomer” Foster, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “With the best-trained, best-equipped agents, Long & Foster will continue to help Northern Virginia area buyers and sellers reach their homeownership goals for years to come.”
