Mario Cortez, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Woodbridge/Prince William Parkway office, has earned the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification.
Awarded by the National Association of Realtors the MRP certification recognizes that Cortez successfully completed a course of study that provided a solid base of information designed to further their expertise working with U.S. servicemembers and their families and veterans to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and to take full advantage of available benefits and support.
“So many current and former military service members and their families call Northern Virginia home. Those who earn the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification have a better understanding of the processes and procedures involved in a military relocation and can guide the service members through the real estate transaction,” said David Gillis, manager of the Woodbridge/Prince William Parkway office.
As your real estate agent, Cortez is your trusted advisor, your practiced negotiator, your skilled house-hunter, and your neighborhood expert. Cortez has an associate degree in real estate from West Los Angeles College. When he is not working with clients Cortez can be found practicing Martial Arts. He earned a certification from Z-Ultimate University of Martial Arts (ZUUMP) as a black bet instructor after over a decade in 2014.
