June 11, 2025

The Woodbridge office of Long & Foster Real Estate, will participate in the company’s Community Service Day on Friday, June 27th. The office, located in Woodbridge, VA, will join the brokerage’s over 150 offices in the day of giving back by volunteering at The Salvation Army in Prince William County distributing food donations to the community.

“We participate in Community Service Day because as reflected in our core company values, we are committed to providing exceptional service to the community where we live, work and play. Volunteering with the Salvation Army is important because they provide much-needed emergency services to families every day. The Salvation Army helps both homeless and financially struggling veterans combat hardship where they live.” said David Gillis, manager of the Woodbridge Branch Office.

Long & Foster sales associates and employees from throughout the company will participate in a variety of volunteer activities during Community Service Day. In past years, these activities included cleaning up, refurbishing and repairing nearby parks, schools, shelters, homes and day care centers, and providing other assistance to local organizations that offer crucial services to the community.

“Community Service Day allows our team to make a positive impact on our local communities, and our agents and employees thoroughly enjoy this opportunity to contribute their time and effort,” said Patrick Bain, president and CEO of The Long & Foster Companies, parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Whether it’s through our annual Community Service Day or one of our other charitable projects, we’re truly glad to give back.”
