Long & Foster’s Winchester Office to Host Community Service Day

June 16, 2025

The Winchester office of Long & Foster Real Estate, will participate in the company’s Community Service Day on June 23, 2025. The office, located in Winchester, VA, will join the brokerage’s over 150 offices in the day of giving back by collecting supplies for the Winchester SPCA and for the Frederick County Esther Boyd Animal Shelter.

“The Winchester office chose to collect donations for the SPCA as our community service project.  We feel it’s one way to demonstrate our commitment to the local community and its well-being. Supporting the SPCA aligns with values of compassion, care, and responsibility—qualities that also resonate with helping people find safe, happy homes”, said Sue Goodwin, Manager of the Winchester Office.

Long & Foster sales associates and employees from throughout the company will participate in a variety of volunteer activities during Community Service Day. In past years, these activities included cleaning up, refurbishing and repairing nearby parks, schools, shelters, homes and day care centers, and providing other assistance to local organizations that offer crucial services to the community.

“Community Service Day allows our team to make a positive impact on our local communities, and our agents and employees thoroughly enjoy this opportunity to contribute their time and effort,” said Patrick Bain, president and CEO of The Long & Foster Companies, parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Whether it’s through our annual Community Service Day or one of our other charitable projects, we’re truly glad to give back.”
