Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc., the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, today announced that Tony Proto has successfully completed the requirements to earn Associate Broker Status.

Proto is an agent with Long & Foster’s Virginia Properties office, located at 412 Libbie Ave., in Richmond, Va. He began his career in 2005 and has been affiliated with Long & Foster since that time. In addition to earning Associate Broker Status, Proto has also received the designations of Short Sale and Foreclosures Resource, Senior Housing Specialist and e-PRO.

“The educational requirements to earn the Associate Broker’s license, which include concentrated studies in real estate law, real estate appraisal, real estate finance and real estate brokerage, provide me with an in-depth understanding of these topics.  I will use both my knowledge and my extensive sales experience to provide an exceptional level of service to my clients,” Proto said.

In addition to the educational requirements, Proto passed the national and Virginia state real estate broker exams to earn his Associate Broker’s license.

“We are proud to announce Tony has earned Associate Broker Status,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. “Tony is one of many examples of Long & Foster’s highly-trained professionals who go to great lengths to best serve clients seeking the total homeownership experience.”
