Thousands of real estate agents and employees with Long & Foster Real Estate, including those at the Stony Point office in Richmond, Va., rolled up their sleeves and took part in the company’s 18th annual Community Service Day on June 3, 2015. Long & Foster’s Community Service Day takes place at its over 180 locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, including its headquarters in Chantilly, Va. The annual event provides an opportunity for Long & Foster agents and staff to give back to their communities through a variety of service projects, including food drives, park clean-ups and more.
The Stony Point office chose to volunteer with The Ronald McDonald House. Agents and staff spent the morning at the Ronald McDonald house baking cookies, cupcakes and other assorted goodies for the families and patients staying at the house. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond, Va., is a non-profit organization that provides a home away from home for seriously ill children and their families.
