Sean Craft, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate, has been named Top Producer by units for 2019, as well as second place for Top Salesperson by volume and units, and third place for Top Producer by gross income commission.  Craft is affiliated with Long & Foster’s Strawberry Street Sales office, located in Richmond, Virginia.

“We are proud to announce Sean as our office’s Top Producer by Units for 2019,” said John VanderSyde, managing broker of the Strawberry Street Sales office. “Sean is a great example of Long & Foster’s highly-trained professionals who go to great lengths to best serve clients seeking the total homeownership experience.”

For the past five years, Craft has been a top producer in what is typically called the Northside of Richmond, Virginia, and specifically in zip code 23222.  By consistently surpassing his competitors in 2019, Craft has proven to be an expert on all things real estate related in the Northside of Richmond.

Craft began flipping houses in 2001, and in doing so had received a lot of exposure to the real estate business.  He always turned to the floor plan first, and continuously read the real estate sections of the New York Times and Richmond Times Dispatch, as well as Architectural Digest, Southern Living and a ton of historic floor plan books.  Real estate was always in his wheelhouse, and an opportunity came for him to jump out of corporate America and work for himself.

As the largest Broker in the Richmond Region, Long & Foster provides strong branding for Craft’s business and a great deal of support when needed.  As someone who studied architectural history and historic preservation at Virginia Commonwealth University, selling historic homes has always been a goal of Craft’s and now it has become a reality. “A life lived in fear is a life half lived,” said Craft.

Craft’s encyclopedic knowledge of Richmond, it’s history and how it developed is what brings so much value to his clients.  His experiences in staging, interior design and having renovated over 50 homes by himself and with clients is what allows him to expertly guide his clients through the process in upgrading their home to sell.  Craft knows the value of upgrades and how that can affect a buyer’s perception of their property.

Craft’s goal in the business is to be mindful of the magnitude of the purchase, and the associated fears and anxiety around the home buying process.  He aims to be a strong guide, and to be exacting and tenacious in finding dream homes for his clients.

During this pandemic, Craft is working from home, and staying home as much as Real Estate allows.  Social distancing is key.
