Long & Foster Real Estate is proud to announce that Sarah Freeman an agent and sales manager with the Long & Foster Grove office, has been accepted into the Richmond Association of Realtors (RAR) Leadership Development Academy.
The Leadership Development Academy is designed to develop visionary, service-oriented REALTOR® members for professional, civic and community leadership roles. The program, which runs from September to December of 2023, exposes a diverse cohort to a variety of topics through seminars, events and experiential learning sessions.
“I am excited to join my colleagues at RAR’s Leadership Development Academy,” said Freeman. “The program will expand our leadership skills and push us closer to reaching our full potential as real estate professionals in Metropolitan Richmond.”
Working with professional leadership coaches, participants identify critical leadership skills and how to tap into their strengths as a leader – in their career and their community. The program also offers an overview of the significance of community involvement and insight into the leadership roles within a REALTOR® organization.
Each Leadership Development Academy class is limited to a small number of qualified participants chosen by the RAR Nominating Committee.
“Long & Foster is proud that the RAR has recognized Sarah’s many accomplishments and her commitment to the industry and her community,” said Beth Dalton, branch manager of the Grove office.
Freeman has been a real estate professional for six years. She has a degree from Sweet Briar College. She lives in Richmond with her spouse Gordon and enjoys spending time with family and attending local events in the city.
