Thousands of real estate agents and employees with Long & Foster Real Estate, including those at the Rildey/Folsom office in Folsom, Pennsylvania, rolled up their sleeves and took part in the company’s 20th annual Community Service Day this June. Long & Foster’s Community Service Day took place at its over 220 locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, including its headquarters in Chantilly, Virginia. The annual event provides an opportunity for Long & Foster agents and staff to give back to their communities through a variety of service projects, including food drives, park clean-ups and more.
The Ridley/Folsom office chose to volunteer by providing a community service shredding event to the local communities as well as a barbecue fundraiser to benefit the American Heart Association. The document shredding provided local residents peace of mind knowing that their personal information had been destroyed the right way.
“Community Service Day is a vitally important component of Long & Foster and our corporate culture of giving,” said P. Wesley Foster Jr., founder, chairman and CEO of The Long & Foster Companies, the parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Our Long & Foster family gains a tremendous sense of personal satisfaction by contributing their time and effort to the local communities in which we live and work.”
