Long & Foster Real Estate is pleased to announce real estate agent Pam Jones, of the Extraordinary Transitions team has been selected as a candidate for 2020 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce in their Small Business Awards category.
In September, the Loudoun Chamber announced the 28 finalists for the 26th Annual Loudoun Small Business Awards. The finalists will compete for honors in six categories such as Destination Business of the Year, Superior Service Business of the Year, Top Entrepreneur of the Year and Health and Wellness Business of the Year. This is the first time a real estate agent was chosen as a finalist.
“There are wonderful business people in the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce that have been nominated and recognized for their excellence and contribution to the business community,” said Jones. “We are very proud be a part of that exclusive club.”
Jones, who is affiliated with Long & Foster’s One Loudoun office, began her real estate career in 1983. She has helped scores of clients find their home in communities all over Northern Virginia and has held management positions in several Long & Foster offices. Her husband, Dave Jones, joined her in the real estate business and together, with Long & Foster agent, Shirley Vestal, they formed The Extraordinary Transitions team, which is on track to close 50 real estate transactions this year.
“Long & Foster is honored that the Loudoun Chamber nominated Pam and the Extraordinary Transitions team as a finalist for Loudoun’s Top Entrepreneur of the Year,” said Dan Freire, managing broker of Long & Foster’s One Loudoun office in Ashburn. “We’re also very proud of Pam and her team and congratulate them on being chosen for this award. She and the team work incredibly hard to provide exceptional service.”
