Nancy Steinke, a manager with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Tri-Cities/Southpark and Chickahominy Sales offices, has earned the Graduate, Realtors Institute (GRI) designation.
Awarded by the National Association of Realtors, the GRI designation recognizes that Steinke successfully completed a course of study that provided a solid base of information designed to further her expertise within the real estate industry.
Steinke received the nationally recognized designation by completing 60 classroom hours of real estate instruction with emphasis on topics such as legal liabilities, professional standards, brokerage relationships, contracts and specialized areas such as appraisal, negotiations and house construction. The designation is awarded exclusively to Realtors.
“Being a GRI is very meaningful for Realtors,” said Steinke. “The courses completed for this designation give a deeper understanding of the many facets of a real estate transaction. As a graduate, I believe I am a better Realtor than I was before.”
Steinke just completed a three-year term serving on the Board of Directors of the Southside Virginia Association of Realtors. She serves as co-chair of the Realtors Political Action Committee and the Grievance Committees. Steinke manages six Long & Foster sales offices and is passionate about providing her agents the support they need to grow their real estate careers.
