Event allows real estate agents, brokerage to give back to the local community
Virginia Beach, VA June 17, 2026 – The Kempsville office of Long & Foster Real Estate will participate in the company’s Community Service Day on June 17. The office, located in Virginia Beach, VA, will join the brokerage’s over 150 offices on the day of giving back by volunteering at Kempsville Humane Society.
“We believe strong communities are built through service and compassion. Supporting the Chesapeake Humane Society allows us to help care for vulnerable animals and contribute to an organization that brings hope, healing, and happy endings every day.” said Maribeth Dunlap, manager of the Kempsville.
Long & Foster sales associates and employees from throughout the company will participate in a variety of volunteer activities during Community Service Day. In past years, these activities included cleaning up, refurbishing and repairing nearby parks, schools, shelters, homes and day care centers, and providing other assistance to local organizations that offer crucial services to the community.
“Community Service Day allows our team to make a positive impact on our local communities, and our agents and employees thoroughly enjoy this opportunity to contribute their time and effort,” said Patrick Bain, president and CEO of The Long & Foster Companies, parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Whether it’s through our annual Community Service Day or one of our other charitable projects, we’re truly glad to give back.”
