Jo Cross, manager of Long & Foster Real Estate’s Chesapeake Sales office, has received her certification as a Buffini Certified Mentor. Long & Foster is the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States.
Awarded by Buffini & Company, certified mentors work to gain the knowledge of teaching their agents how to work by referral through a 100-day program. The program helps those who are certified to increase the production of their agents, maximize time, build momentum in their office and lets their agents know they are invested in their success.
“Brian Buffini’s programs are exceptional in teaching agents the tools they need to succeed. This certification gives me the opportunity to mentor and coach agents through the myriad of tasks agents must complete in these programs in order to become successful real estate agents,” Cross said.
A Realtorsince 1979, Cross has been affiliated with Long & Foster’s Chesapeake Sales office since 2014 and was named the 2013 Manager of the Year for both the Virginia Association of Realtors and the Hampton Roads Realtors Association. Cross also holds the professional designations of Accredited Buyer’s Agent Manager; Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager; Certified Residential Specialist; and Graduate, Realtors Institute. She is also licensed as a Virginia Real Estate Instructor and is a certified Professional Standards Instructor.
Cross is a member of the Hampton Roads Realtors Association. She currently resides in Chesapeake with her husband, Lin, and they have four grandchildren.
