Heather Paoloni, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate, has been named top Salesperson by volume and selling gross commission income for 2019. Paoloni is affiliated with Long & Foster’s Strawberry Street Sales office, located in Richmond, Virginia.
“We are proud to announce Heather as our office’s Top Salesperson for 2019,” said John VanderSyde, managing broker of the Strawberry Street Sales office. “Heather is a great example of Long & Foster’s highly-trained professionals who go to great lengths to best serve clients seeking the total homeownership experience.”
Paoloni has been working in Richmond Real Estate for over four years, but you could say it’s in her blood since her father was a real estate broker in New York City her entire young life. In truth, her father’s Real Estate business was a family affair. Her mother worked alongside her dad for many years and Paoloni and her brother worked with him as well; showing apartments, moving furniture, painting and even doing demolitions.
Heather’s family was hands-on and she continues that level of commitment with her clients today. Heather supports her clients with all aspects of their buying or selling process and still does not shy away from hard work. Recently, Paoloni and her teenage sons helped clients move boxes to storage, she gave staging advice and planted pansies to improve the home’s curb appeal. Her clients regularly comment on her commitment and dedication to helping them achieve their Real Estate goals.
Paoloni began and continues her Real Estate career in Richmond with Long & Foster Real Estate. Her office on Strawberry Street in The Fan has a welcoming and collegial feel. She values the attentive support and excellent guidance she gets from her broker, John VanderSyde and the rest of core services-including lending, insurance, and legal support.
Paoloni knows that whenever there is a success to be celebrated or a problem to be solved, she’s got a dedicated team of experts supporting her. The business of Real Estate can be high stakes and there are occasional sleepless nights, but Paoloni takes great pride in seeing her clients through even the toughest transactions. She’s a skilled and fair negotiator who tries to find a win-win solution to problems. She always puts her clients first and works relentlessly to support their needs and find successful outcomes.
Real Estate suits Paoloni perfectly because it allows her to interact with a variety of people in different capacities. Whether it’s a first-time home buyer, a million-dollar seller or a home inspector, she treats all clients and contractors with friendliness and respect. Paoloni views her work as collaborative and works hard to listen to her clients’ needs. Her commitment to excellence drives her to be an expert in her market so that she brings the most current Real Estate information to her clients. Attending closely to market conditions, she successfully counsels sellers on how to best price their home so that they receive the most showings and highest offers. For her buyers, Paoloni knows the comparable sales in the area and coaches her clients on how to make strategically strong offers with compelling terms so sellers select her client’s offer over others. More than one agent on the other side has expressed admiration for the strong and “clean” offers Paoloni has crafted for her clients.
Ultimately, Paoloni views herself as an advocate for her clients. She wants them to feel like they are in the best hands possible. Paoloni knows the intricacies of buying and selling a home so that her clients can relax and trust that she has their best interests at heart. Her ultimate reward is a happy customer who is excited to refer her to family and friends because they want everyone to have a stellar and committed Realtor on their side.
As we navigate this particularly difficult period of the Coronavirus pandemic, Paoloni continues to work and support her clients while following state and federal safety guidelines. She is practicing social distancing, maintaining 6 feet from other individuals, and she provides gloves and sanitizing wipes for her clients so they feel safe as well. She has an amazing team of lenders and attorneys who can still move a transaction forward with electronic signatures and e-filing with courthouses. These are not easy times, but Paoloni stays current on best practices and continues to guide her clients with grace and knowledge in spite of the uncertainties we all face.
Paoloni is thrilled to be recognized as a top producer at Long & Foster, but her greatest pride lies with the wonderful relationships she nurtures with her clients and their heartwarming words of praise for her hard work and dedication. Heather’s parents passed away many years ago, but she knows they would be proud of the work she does and the family legacy she continues. Paoloni’s husband Chris, and three children, Ryan (17), Cameron (15) and Juliette (12), are very supportive and invested in her success. Her eldest son even does drone photography of listings for her. She fully expects that one of her kids will someday follow in her footsteps in the exciting business of Real Estate.
