Giglia spoke on digital advertising at luxury-focused summit
Duane Giglia, vice president of corporate advertising and programs for Long & Foster Real Estate, the nation’s No. 1 privately owned real estate company, presented at the Luxury Portfolio SUMMIT on Feb. 28 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. This invitation-only event was hosted by Luxury Portfolio International®, the luxury face of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE). Long & Foster is a founding affiliate of LeadingRE and a member of Luxury Portfolio.
The 2017 Luxury Portfolio SUMMIT kicked off by exploring the changing expectations of luxury consumers. Attendees and presenters alike discussed how real estate associates could better serve these clients and provide them with the “wow” for which they are looking. Participants engaged in a collaborative program focused on how the high-net-worth buy today, the five secret languages of communication and leveraging their Luxury Portfolio relationship. They also explored marketing strategies in a mobile and digital world, as well as ways to grow business with global buyers and attract attention in a world of noise through public relations best practices.
Giglia spoke on marketing strategies in a mobile and digital world, sharing insights on digital marketing best practices, social media trends and recommended next steps for agents looking to promote themselves digitally.
“The Luxury Portfolio SUMMIT brings together the best of the best in luxury real estate, and it presents an opportunity to network and share ideas with residential real estate experts from around the world,” said Giglia. “I appreciated the opportunity to share my decades of advertising and marketing expertise in the real estate industry and enjoyed hearing how others are achieving success in their markets.”
Giglia was among a notable line-up of speakers, which included keynote speakers Brett Culp, an acclaimed filmmaker, Brad Meltzer, the New York Times bestselling author, and LeadingRE Chief Economist Marci Rossell, Ph.D. Featured speakers included Susan Constantine, the world’s leading authority on body language as it pertains to leadership and deception detection; philosopher, speaker and consultant Matthew Ferrara, Constance Freedman, founder and managing partner of Moderne Ventures, and Michela O’Connor Abrams, the former CEO of Dwell Media.
“Our speakers have tremendous knowledge of many areas that influence the real estate market, and we are so appreciative of their willingness to share their insights and expertise. They help foster a creative and collaborative environment, as we work together to market some of the most exceptional properties around the globe,” said Stephanie Pfeffer Anton, executive vice president of Luxury Portfolio.
