DeAnn Brown, the managing broker with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Lynchburg/Forest office, has been elected by the Lynchburg Association of Realtors to serve on its Board of Directors as the Treasurer for 2024. The treasurer is responsible for establishing and overseeing the budget for the association. The treasurer is also a member of the board’s Executive Committee. Brown has served on the board for three years and will serve as the treasurer for 2024.
“It is an honor to be elected as part of the Executive Committee while serving as the treasurer for 2024. I look forward to assisting with the growth and long-term success of our association,” Brown said.
A Realtor since 2002, Brown has been affiliated with Long & Foster’s Lynchburg/Forest office for nine years. She is a managing broker, Graduate of the Real Estate Institute and holds the Short Sale and Foreclosure designation.
Brown has been an active member of the Lynchburg Association of Realtors for 21 years. Next year, she will be serving in her third year as a member of the Board of Directors. She has also chaired the Multiple Listing Service Committee and was previously a member of the Forms Committee.
A lifelong resident of the Central Virginia area, Brown lives in Coleman Falls. She holds an associate’s degree in computer science.
