Cam McLemore named Director of Business Development for Coastal Carolinas
Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent family-owned residential real estate company in the United States, has named Cam McLemore as Director of Business Development for Coastal Carolinas in its Corporate Real Estate Services division. McLemore has worked in the real estate and hospitality industries for more than a decade, and through that experience, he has gained a wealth of knowledge in business development, marketing and strategic planning.
“I’m excited to join the Long & Foster family and to lead the team’s efforts to grow our business and better support real estate clients looking to relocate to the Carolinas,” said McLemore. “I’m confident that with the combination of my experience and the support of the talented Corporate Real Estate Services team, we’ll build upon the exceptional customer service and industry knowledge that Long & Foster brings to the marketplace and even better support buyers in North and South Carolina.”
McLemore comes to Long & Foster from Murphy Family Ventures, where served as the vice president and director of marketing for the private River Landing residential golf community in Wallace, N.C. In his five years at that position, McLemore developed and implemented all sales and marketing programs for the community, while also managing and building client relationships. These strategic business development and networking activities enabled him to achieve tremendous results for the company, reducing expenses and increasing sales revenues.
Prior to his work at Murphy Family Ventures, McLemore served in leadership positions at a variety of residential communities and golf courses, as well as in land development. He also owned and operated a start-up company—an endeavor that provided him with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of business operations and management. Through his career, McLemore has learned the strategies and tactics to achieve tremendous success in real estate, and he will rely upon these sales and marketing skills in his new role at Long & Foster.
“Cam’s real estate knowledge, as well as his experience in the coastal markets, will help ensure our clients receive the highest quality of service and support when they are considering a move to the Carolinas,” said Pandra Richie, president Long & Foster’s Corporate Real Estate Services. “With his dedication, drive and initiative, Cam is well positioned to lead our coastal Carolinas efforts, and I am thrilled to welcome him to our Long & Foster family.”
