Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, has announced that its Charlottesville region has partnered with the Design House 2015 to support the Shelter for Help in Emergency. The Shelter for Help in Emergency has been furthering its mission to end domestic violence in the greater Charlottesville area for over 35 years.
The Design House 2015 is a major fund raiser for the organization. Last year’s Design House raised nearly $73,000 to directly support the mission and programs of the Shelter. This home features 15 of the area’s most talented interior designers. The Design House opens on May 1 and is open daily, except for Tuesdays. Long & Foster is a silver sponsor for this year’s event.
“We are very pleased to be one of the premiere sponsors for Design House 2015. The Shelter for Help in Emergency is an important resource for our area. Long & Foster is new to the Charlottesville area but our agents and team members have been ingrained in the community for many years and we recognize the importance of being involved in such worthy causes,” said Art Pearson, managing broker of the Charlottesville office.
Design House 2015 opens to the public on May 2 and runs through May 17; it will be open daily except for Tuesdays. For detailed information and tickets visit www.CvilleDesignHouse.com.
