Haug takes on new role as Senior Vice President, Divisional Sales Manager
Brian Haug has recently returned to Prosperity Home Mortgage as Senior Vice President, Divisional Sales Manager. In this role, Haug will lead the area sales managers and mortgage consultants who support Long & Foster Real Estate, ensuring strong and productive working relationships between the two companies.
Haug most recently led the Richmond, Hampton Roads, Charlottesville and Southwest Virginia regions for Long & Foster Real Estate, a position he held since 2017. In that role, he was responsible for leading the General Brokerage operations for over 30 sales offices, ensuring Long & Foster’s Realtors had the tools and partners needed to deliver results for their buyers and sellers.
During the time Haug led the General Brokerage operations, Long & Foster was honored by the Richmond Times-Dispatch as one of the Top Workplaces in the region – ranking as the No. 1 Top Workplace in the large organization category in 2020 and 2019 and No. 3 on the list in 2018.
In addition, under Haug’s leadership, the prestigious Foster Cup was won in 2020 for the Southern Region and in 2018 for the Richmond Region, recognizing excellence in real estate.
Through this experience, Haug gained invaluable insights on real estate sales and business development, as well as agent/affiliate partner relationships, such as those between Long & Foster and Prosperity. He’ll leverage this expertise in helping Prosperity’s teams grow an even stronger business with Long & Foster Real Estate partners.
“I’m excited and honored to go back to Prosperity Home Mortgage to help continue the stellar service Prosperity provides to clients that has made it so successful,” said Haug. “I look forward to working again with Prosperity’s talented team of mortgage consultants to help build the company brand even further.”
Haug has had years of experience in the mortgage business. Prior to his most recent position, he served as the Area Sales Manager for Prosperity in the highly competitive Washington, D.C., and Montgomery County, Maryland, markets. In that position, he oversaw mortgage sales, leading a team of more than 80 mortgage consultants and sales assistants. Under his leadership, our D.C. and Montgomery County divisions not only achieved double-digit market share growth, but also earned the highest customer satisfaction scores.
