Long & Foster’s Art Herling Team Goes Virtual to Keep Clients Safe

April 6, 2020

With Covid-19 and the resulting state shutdown, Realtors like the Art Herling Team at Long & Foster Real Estate have gone virtual to continue supporting their buyers and sellers.

“The agents on my team have continued to serve their clients, using remote and social distancing guidelines to keep everyone safe,” said Art Herling, team leader of the Art Herling Team at Long & Foster. “While our MLS has reported fewer sales than what is typical during this traditionally busy time of the year, the numbers were surprising to me. Real estate agents, title clerks, conveyancers, appraisers, office administators and mortgage consultants, all working virtually, have gone above and beyond to make sales, listings and closings happen.”

With increasing restrictions from the state government on business closures, the real estate industry has had to get creative with their approach to ensuring little interruptions to the market. “Everybody is more accommodating and helpful and has a bend-over-backwards attitude in these strange times,” said Herling.

His team has seen higher interest in new construction properties, Herling noted. They are also offering more pictures and virtual tours of vacant homes and builder job-sites, as well as virtual tours of any of their occupied listings, enabling consumers to shop for a home, from home.

Herling is a 39-year veteran of the real estate profession and has been involved in nearly every aspect of real estate – from sales and management to home building and land acquisition. His team, The Art Herling Team ranked No. 64 in the nation by Real Trends’s The Thousand. He specializes in luxury home sales, both resale and new construction, and his superior sales skills have made him Long & Foster’s No. 1 overall, the No. 3 agent in Pennsylvania overall and the No. 1 agent in suburban Philadelphia.

He is a member of the Home Builders Association of Chester and Delaware Counties, as well as the Home Builders Association of Bucks and Montgomery Counties and has been involved in thousands of new home and lot sales. Highly respected for his expertise, Herling is frequently solicited by area experts to offer his insider’s knowledge of the new home and resale market including site and product evaluations.
