New office continues to attract top Delaware real estate professionals
Long & Foster® Real Estate, Inc., the largest independently held residential real estate company in the United States, today announced that top producing real estate professionals, Michael A. Porro and his partner Cathy Truver, will affiliate with Long & Foster and join the company’s Greenville, Del., office, located at 3801 Kennett Pike, Building D, Suite 204, Greenville, Del.
Porro is a 35-year real estate industry veteran, formerly affiliated with Patterson-Schwartz Real Estate for the duration of his career before joining Long & Foster this month. A native Delawarean, he is a product of Salesianum School and the University of Delaware, a founding member and current executive director of The Friends of Wilmington Parks, and an active member of the local community.
“The addition of Mike and Cathy to the Greenville sales team provides Long & Foster with the opportunity to expand our real estate coverage throughout New Castle County and assist more customers in the region than ever before,” said R.T. Christopher, manager of the Greenville office. “We welcome Mike and Cathy to the Long & Foster family, and look forward to capitalizing on the enormous amount of talent, expertise, and integrity they will bring to Long & Foster’s presence in the Delaware real estate market, and the City of Wilmington in particular.”
Porro and Truver join Long & Foster’s Greenville office, serving the Wilmington and Delaware Valley regions, which opened its doors in December 2012. The Greenville location, Long & Foster’s fifth office in Delaware, is led by Christopher, who also oversees the company’s efforts to expand its real estate services across the entire state. Porro and Truver join Greenville’s newly assembled team of Delaware real estate experts, which also includes the top-producing Levy Wilson real estate team, the top-producing Laskaris-Spruance team, and highly successful sales associates Cathleen Wilder, Terri Sensing, Toni Bowersox, Jeff Derp, and Buzz Moran, among others.
“Long & Foster is incredibly fortunate to continue to attract and add to our team top real estate talent – like Mike and Cathy – as we grow throughout the entire state of Delaware,” said Gary Scott, president of real estate for Long & Foster. “After over 40 years in business, we are constantly looking for new ways to grow and adapt our business to the changing real estate landscape – which is why this type of business growth fits so well with Long & Foster’s long term, strategic plans for Delaware.
“There is no doubt that joining the team at Long & Foster is the right decision for me and the clients we serve,” said Porro. “I am confident that joining forces with Gary Scott and R.T. Christopher – two great names in Delaware real estate – combined with the strength of the Long & Foster brand, will result in the highest level of service for our clients looking to make important home buying and selling decisions.”
