Cindy Jez, vice president of Long & Foster Real Estate’s New Homes division in the Southern Virginia region, represented New Kent Farms, LLC, in the sale of 81 finished estate lots to local development company PHD Holdings, LLC. The home sites are located in Viniterra, a 1000 plus-acre gated community offering luxurious amenities, including the New Kent Winery and The Club at Viniterra, with its 18-hole championship golf course. Sales are expected to begin in early 2019 and purchasers of the lots will have a number of quality builders from which to choose.
“We are extremely proud that PHD Holdings will continue the tradition of quality and integrity that has been the foundation for the Viniterra community since our first homeowners moved into the area in 2010,” said Doug Anderson, Executive Vice President of New Kent Farms, LLC. “This company, which is led by Patrick Horsley, has strong roots in the local area and is committed to taking the neighborhood to the next level.” Horsley, who is also an agent with Long & Foster Real Estate, was one of the first homeowners in the neighborhood.
Jez is also representing New Kent Farms in the sale of more than 100 additional lots, located in the active adult community section of Vinterra. This transaction is expected to close at the end of this month, with plans to begin building cottage homes in that section of the neighborhood in summer 2019.
“The sale of these exclusive home sites will offer a unique opportunity for homebuyers looking for refined country living with convenience to everything in the greater Richmond area, as well as Williamsburg, Virginia,” said Jez. “It is our plan to have new estate and active adult homes under construction for the spring market as well as an additional section of undeveloped lots for sale.” Long & Foster Real Estate is the nation’s No. 1 independent real estate brand.* For more information, visit LongandFoster.com.
