Long & Foster Named a Top Workplace in Richmond

March 25, 2025

Long & Foster Real Estate has once again been recognized as a Top Workplace by the Richmond Times-Dispatch. This honor is awarded based solely on feedback from agents and employees, collected through a confidential survey administered by Energage LLC, a leading employee engagement research firm. The survey assesses key aspects of the employee experience, including workplace culture, respect, support, and professional growth opportunities.

“It’s an incredible honor to receive such positive feedback from our teams and to be recognized again as a top workplace in the Richmond region,” said Dawn Bradley, senior vice president and regional manager of Long & Foster’s Richmond region. “I’m grateful for our amazing agents and employees who make Long & Foster a success every day while embracing our culture.”

This year, over 1,650 organizations—including businesses, nonprofits, and government entities—were invited to participate in the Top Workplaces program. A total of 119 companies completed the survey, and 91 were selected as winners. Long & Foster earned its place in the Large Business category (400-899 employees).

“I’m incredibly proud of our Long & Foster family in Richmond for earning this recognition,” said Patrick Bain, CEO and president of The Long & Foster Companies, parent company of Long & Foster Real Estate. “This award is a true reflection of the dedication and excellence of our agents and employees, who go above and beyond every day to serve our clients. Their efforts make us the top real estate company in the Richmond region.”

The Richmond Times-Dispatch will release the ranked list of top workplaces on May 11. You can view the full list of Top Workplaces honorees here (note: subscription required).
