Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, announced that it has recently launched expanded real estate career training resources under its Long & Foster Institute program.
All of the company’s career training resources can now be found in a single location accessible by its agents, managers and employees, with classroom, online and correspondence learning options covering a broad range of topics. Long & Foster offers approved courses in Delaware, Washington, D.C., Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. In addition to the continuing education needed by real estate agents, the new Long & Foster Institute also offers pre-paid, career-enhancing classes for Long & Foster agents.
“The Long & Foster Institute is a place where you can get your real estate license, work to keep your real estate license with continuing education courses, and truly build your real estate career,” said Nick D’Ambrosia, senior vice president of recruiting and career development for Long & Foster Companies.
The Institute also allows Long & Foster agents and employees to brush up on topics relevant to them with the program’s Tips from the Top videos, which feature some of the company’s top agents. The videos include advice on topics such as marketing, increasing referrals, managing the homebuying and selling process, pricing strategies, open house secrets and more.
Additionally, agents can join LeadingRE’s OUR WORLD, an accompanying program from our Corporate Real Estate Services division that allows them to leverage the knowledge base within the Long & Foster company and across the OUR WORLD network by joining group discussions with other top associates.
“Think of the Institute as a ‘learning hub,'” said Jeff Kennedy, global business development manager for LeadingRE. “It’s a one-stop shop for all of your education needs as a real estate agent. Dynamic calendars that link to live training, more than 200 short online courses, documents, continuing education – you name it, it’s there.”
“With the new Long & Foster Institute, we continue to ensure that we’re providing our agents with the best in training and tools, including great information from some of our most successful agents,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “Providing this type of resource and support for our agents means they can not only reach but surpass their career goals and make clients’ homeownership dreams come true. Something Long & Foster has been doing for more than 45 years.”
