Course designed for individuals planning a career in real estate
The Long & Foster Institute of Real Estate will host a real estate licensing course at the Fredericksburg office of Long & Foster Real Estate, located at 1910 William Street in Fredericksburg, starting May 30. The 60-hour course is designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career in real estate, and it runs from May 30 to July 1 with classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays (full schedule is available here).
The course is approved by the Commonwealth of Virginia to fulfill the classroom prerequisite for taking the real estate examination. It has been designed especially for individuals new to the real estate business, and it introduces the concepts and skills needed to prepare for the national and state examinations. Upon successful completion of the course, attendees can sign up for the required examinations, which must be passed to earn real estate licensure. Please note that course attendance does not require nor guarantee affiliation with Long & Foster Real Estate.
The cost to attend the course is $199, including tuition and books, or $126.55 for tuition only. Long & Foster also offers the P. Wesley Foster Military Service Scholarship—a full scholarship program for real estate licensing classes to U.S. military veterans, active duty personnel and their spouses and children. Scholarships cover the cost of tuition and textbooks for classroom courses offered by the Long & Foster Institute of Real Estate.
