Long & Foster Real Estate has announced that its Grove Avenue office, located in Richmond, Virginia, recently took part in a Heart Healthy Lunch Competition in support of the American Heart Association.
Every year the Grove Avenue office collects funds for the American Heart Association and participates in the Heart Walk. This year the office also participated in the regional Heart Healthy Lunch Competition. Heart healthy lunch options were prepared by agents and staff and lunch was served for a small donation. Not only did the office enjoy a healthy, home-cooked meal, but additional funds were raised for the American Heart Association.
Lee Ann Magnus from the American Heart Association joined the office as guest judge. Nancy Garrison’s Quinoa and Avocado Salad with Lemon Tahini Dressing was selected as the best dish in the office and was announced as the grand prize regional winner of the competition on Nov. 27.
Long & Foster Real Estate and the Grove Avenue office congratulate Nancy and thank everyone who participated in the event and the delicious and fun fundraiser.
