Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent real estate company in the United States, has announced that its Commercial Division, located in Tysons, Va., has represented a lease signing with The Springs, A Montessori School for a 12,100-square-foot space with an initial term of 10 years located at 7719 Fullerton Rd., Springfield, Va. The volume of this lease will come to approximately $2,000,000.
The Springs said it chose the space because of the convenience of their customers and the additional space allowing them to expand and bring newer evolving technologies to the classroom. The Springs is a Montessori preschool and kindergarten in Springfield that has been providing Montessori education to the Northern Virginia area since 1966.
“Our goal is to provide a secure, inviting, challenging and stimulating environment for the intellectual and social development of each child in accordance with the Montessori philosophy,” said a school representative.
“We’re very pleased to have negotiated this lease between The Springs and the Landlord”, said Ken Ulsaker, executive vice president of the Long & Foster Commercial Division. “We’re confident this location will be a good fit for The Springs’ new home.”
The school is moving from its current location on Backlick Road to its new Fullerton Road location for the start of the 2014-2015 school year in September.
